CNS was established over 112 years ago and has been a key part of the educational landscape of Norwich ever since.
The school opened as a boy’s grammar school in 1910 and its rich history is well documented. We are very proud of this cultural heritage and we remain loyal to our historic roots whilst continuously regenerating and redefining ourselves to meet the needs of all members of our school community.
The beautiful, original building is still in use today, and sits alongside our dedicated, modern facilities for science, mathematics, the arts and sixth form.
