CNSA exists to support the school and enrich the education of the students by:
If your child is at CNS, you are automatically a member of CNSA.
We organise events such as quiz and chips nights, the summer Fest and refreshments stalls at other school events. Students are involved in suggesting how to spend the money we raise. Recent funding projects include: more picnic benches and bins for outside areas, footballs for use at lunchtime, water bottle refill stations, an eco car kit, sixth form bike racks and T-shirts in house colours for Year 6 induction week. We have been given lots of ideas for more fundraising, so please do support us to help raise more funds.
Thank you to everyone – students, parents, staff and others – who performed, helped out or came along to the CNS Fest last year. We had a fantastic turnout, and we’re delighted to report that the Fest raised over £3000!
CNSA will spend the money on portable floodlights, to enable sports clubs to continue after school throughout the winter. And students will again be given the opportunity to make suggestions for how money raised by CNSA at the Fest and through other fundraising can be spent.
As the school has a fabulously full schedule planned over the 2024 Summer term, it has been decided to revert to holding CNS Fest every other year. Â As such there won’t be a Fest this year but it will be back in 2025.
If you’d like to get involved with CNSA next year to help plan and run future events to raise funds and bring the school, parents and community together, then please get in touch by emailing [email protected] – we always welcome new people getting involved.
Thank you for your support,
The CNSA team.
Get involved
We always need more helpers! Can you make a cake? Help on a stall? Serve refreshments? Send an email to [email protected] to join our list of helpers. We email our helpers when we need assistance for an event.
Or if you’d like to get more involved, we’d love you to join us. We meet once each half term, usually at school in the evening. We are a friendly group – do come along to one of our meetings (dates are advertised on Twitter or in the school newsletter) or email [email protected] to find out more.
Attend our events

Buy a lottery ticket
We have set up a weekly lottery with Your School Lottery. Tickets cost £1 per week, and you can set up a direct debit, or buy tickets for a specific period of time using a debit card. Go to https://www.yourschoollottery.co.uk/lottery/school/city-of-norwich-school to buy your tickets online.
Any adult in the UK can buy tickets, so feel free to share the link with grandparents or others. One of our supporters wins a cash prize each week, and there’s a chance of winning the national prize of £25,000.
