Students enjoy virtual careers talk from Mercury Prize-winning drummer

On 20th November, students who take drumming lessons in school were invited to join a Future For All virtual careers talk with Femi Koleoso, drummer and bandleader of the Mercury Prize-winning Ezra Collective.

Femi spoke about his personal journey in music, from first picking up the drumsticks to performing on stages around the world. He shared the highs and lows he has faced along the way, as well as insights into his creative process and what it takes to build a successful career in the music industry.

The session offered students the chance to hear from someone who has turned a passion into a profession and how creative thinking, working with others, and staying resilient can help start a future in the arts.
